A wasted opportunity for Colpton FC. 27 minutes into the game, one of Colpton FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Frances Vance was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Navarro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Navarro got free with Frances Vance in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 41 minutes, Leopoldo Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Branden Irvin made a kick off. Branden Irvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Frances Vance tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Branden Irvin scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frances Vance, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolas Barrière charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colpton FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mattice.
