After a defensive mix-up in DeWette's zone, Homer Horner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barrett Watts came out of the goal and Homer Horner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iréné Caron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Barrett Watts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerald Ruel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Constantin Garnier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantin Garnier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Gray's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Constantin Garnier made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Gerald Ruel sent off a good shot on target. Iréné Caron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. DeWette's Barrett Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Horner in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iréné Caron in the 35th minute of play forced DeWette's goalkeeper Barrett Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Homer Horner made a kick off. Constantin Garnier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerald Ruel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Iréné Caron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Barrett Watts made a huge save. Homer Horner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barrett Watts having to interfere. Iréné Caron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Barrett Watts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Homer Horner in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barrett Watts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th match minute, DeWette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Montoya to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homer Horner in the 80th minute of play forced DeWette's goalkeeper Barrett Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrett Watts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Horner in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of DeWette booed when Foymount FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keneth Kenny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Garnier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Ruel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Foymount FC got a freekick which was hit by Jérémie Kent. When Brian Gray came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the DeWette fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Gray couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
