Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Colpton FC's Warren Allen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Laurent Bartley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Madawaska FC's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Allen came free, but Edmund Sexton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Faucher hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Quincy McCall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madawaska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quincy McCall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frances Vance breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laurent Bartley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frances Vance read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Angelo Hinkle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edmund Sexton, passed just outside the right post. If Warren Allen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Madawaska FC got a freekick which was hit by Burt Helton. Angelo Hinkle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Sexton having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Warren Allen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edmund Sexton, passed just outside the right post. In the 26th minute, Laurent Bartley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Cedrick Talley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colpton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madawaska FC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Colpton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedrick Talley to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Burt Helton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frances Vance skillfully saved the ball. Warren Allen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Sexton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Madawaska FC's Edmund Sexton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Madawaska FC from getting a goal against them. If Warren Allen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Warren Allen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colpton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Warren Allen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quincy McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quincy McCall to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Quincy McCall tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frances Vance saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59thth minute of the game Quincy McCall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colpton FC's Frances Vance was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Warren Allen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Madawaska FC's Edmund Sexton. Edmund Sexton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frances Vance made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Laurent Bartley sent off a good shot on target. Warren Allen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 74 minutes, Jude Robison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Madawaska FC and the Colpton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jude Robison hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Arnaud Malone came free in the 76th minute and tried to tip the ball over Edmund Sexton, but to the joy of Madawaska FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Madawaska FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerrold Kiser in the 81st minute. The corner led Madawaska FC's Jerrold Kiser to fire away a dangerous shot which Frances Vance despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Colpton FC's Warren Allen got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Madawaska FC got a freekick which was hit by George Bingham. In the 88th minute Warren Allen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Sexton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Hinkle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Sexton having to interfere. When Madawaska FC's Quincy McCall in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colpton FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Colpton FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Madawaska FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
