With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Cornett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sicamous booed when Mattice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Warren Chabot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Asselin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branden Irvin in the 18th minute of play forced Sicamous's goalkeeper Hobert England to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tanner Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattice's John Cornett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Clinton in the 24th minute of play. Sicamous's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Branden Irvin scored to the left of an out of position Hobert England, making the score, 1-0. In the 35thth minute of the game Branden Irvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sicamous's Hobert England was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilfredo Flores hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Emerson Faulk charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Faulk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Emerson Faulk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattice's Leopoldo Navarro managed to work through Sicamous's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leopoldo Navarro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Leopoldo Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Hobert England stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Branden Irvin's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Aron Clinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sicamous's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Clinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Branden Irvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hobert England. Sicamous's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Branden Irvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Clinton in the 70th minute of play forced Mattice's goalkeeper John Cornett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Mattice's goalkeeper John Cornett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanner Major. Mattice's John Cornett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Mattice from getting a goal against them. After having played for 78 minutes, Branden Irvin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
