Burt Helton kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Janeville AFC's Carol Oliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quincy McCall in the 18th minute of play. A hard shot 20 in the game by Rudolf Guzman from a close distance when the talented Edmund Sexton managed to make a qualified save. Madawaska FC's players were relieved. Quincy McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Oliver having to interfere. Laurent Bartley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Oliver having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Simon Welch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madawaska FC's Laurent Bartley got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Léonce Colvin charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léonce Colvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Léonce Colvin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Quincy McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Oliver having to interfere. Madawaska FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Joseph Hillman scored to the left of an out of position Edmund Sexton, making the score, 2-0. Bernard Elmore charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernard Elmore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Janeville AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bernard Elmore hit a great ball. Edmund Sexton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Hillman in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Guzman got free with Edmund Sexton in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carol Oliver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quincy McCall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Joseph Hillman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Sexton was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Madawaska FC defense, Rudolf Guzman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Sexton. The Madawaska FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Sexton should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quincy McCall to strike the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Guzman took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmund Sexton. Edmund Sexton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 65th minute, Ervin Rosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Hillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurent Bartley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quincy McCall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carol Oliver came out and tried to block the shot, but Quincy McCall slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Rudolf Guzman made a precise shot to the right of Edmund Sexton. Madawaska FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Len Evans during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Madawaska FC got a freekick which was hit by Len Evans. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Madawaska FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danilo Keyes was slow to take the kick. During this time Janeville AFC's players had a chance to rest. After 97 played minutes Janeville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Elmore. If Quincy McCall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Laurent Bartley came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Madawaska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurent Bartley couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Madawaska FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Janeville AFC.
