Art Kuhn hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Mattice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Asselin to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Foymount FC's Homer Horner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Cornett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homer Horner in the 19th minute of play forced Mattice's goalkeeper John Cornett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Didier Duffet hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Branden Irvin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Constantin Garnier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Foymount FC booed when Mattice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Asselin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Clemente Asselin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mattice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Leopoldo Navarro struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Constantin Garnier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mattice. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branden Irvin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Garnier saved Foymount FC from getting behind. In the 39thth minute of the game Branden Irvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foymount FC's Constantin Garnier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Foymount FC's zone, Leopoldo Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Garnier came out of the goal and Leopoldo Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jérémie Kent during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Foymount FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jérémie Kent hit a great ball. Branden Irvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Garnier having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Leopoldo Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Foymount FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mattice were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Branden Irvin made a kick off. Foymount FC's Constantin Garnier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Foymount FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Branden Irvin took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Constantin Garnier to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, Mattice's goal looked a bit too open when Iréné Caron came free, but John Cornett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Constantin Garnier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mattice's Branden Irvin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Constantin Garnier. That made the score 1-4 after 75 minutes of play. Homer Horner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. John Cornett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Garnier having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Navarro got free with Constantin Garnier in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Homer Horner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Mattice's goal looked a bit too open when Iréné Caron came free, but John Cornett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Foymount FC's Constantin Garnier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branden Irvin in the 90th minute of play. Iréné Caron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cornett having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mattice walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
