Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sébastien Dennis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Laurent Bartley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Dennis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austin Dennis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurent Bartley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Austin Dennis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy McCall in the 6th minute of play. Madawaska FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Sébastien Dennis scored to the left of an out of position Edmund Sexton, making the score, 1-0. Sébastien Dennis struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Edmund Sexton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Québec FC. Gustave Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quincy McCall in the 22nd minute of play forced Québec FC's goalkeeper Austin Dennis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Madawaska FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerrold Kiser in the 24th minute. The corner led Madawaska FC's Jerrold Kiser to fire away a dangerous shot which Austin Dennis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Québec FC defense, Quincy McCall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Austin Dennis. The Québec FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Austin Dennis should have stopped the shot. Harris Preston scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmund Sexton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quincy McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austin Dennis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quincy McCall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sébastien Dennis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Madawaska FC's zone, Harris Preston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Sexton came out of the goal and Harris Preston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sébastien Dennis got free with Edmund Sexton in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quincy McCall to strike the kick off in the second half. Austin Dennis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurent Bartley in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauren Rosen in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Sexton saved Madawaska FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Harris Preston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Québec FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Harris Preston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Sexton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmund Sexton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sébastien Dennis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerrold Kiser kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Madawaska FC's zone, Sébastien Dennis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Sexton came out of the goal and Sébastien Dennis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lauren Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Harris Preston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Sexton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustave Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Edmund Sexton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauren Rosen struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Edmund Sexton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Québec FC. Québec FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
