Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Quincy McCall started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edmund Sexton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathanael Conroy in the 15th minute of play. Edmund Sexton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Madawaska FC's zone, Nathanael Conroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Sexton came out of the goal and Nathanael Conroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathanael Conroy in the 21st minute of play forced Madawaska FC's goalkeeper Edmund Sexton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quincy McCall in the 25th minute of play forced Casselman FC's goalkeeper Damien Frost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Sexton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nathanael Conroy went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Laurent Bartley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Damien Frost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quincy McCall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Laurent Bartley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Harris to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Valentin Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Sexton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernie Cartwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Frost having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quincy McCall in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damien Frost prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casselman FC's Damien Frost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurent Bartley in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Laurent Bartley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damien Frost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Laurent Bartley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nathanael Conroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurent Bartley in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damien Frost prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Jerrold Kiser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stefan Caldwell came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Casselman FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Caldwell couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Casselman FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
