Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) DeWette's Brian Gray started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, DeWette's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Addison came free, but Barrett Watts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrett Watts didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience was convinced that Antony Addison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barrett Watts was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Barrett Watts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Addison in the 14th minute of play. Antony Addison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. In the 38th match minute, DeWette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Rowe to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, DeWette's goalkeeper Barrett Watts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Winfred Gladu. After a rather tough play, DeWette's Domingo Rowe got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th match minute, DeWette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chong Bergeron to maneuver through the defense. Antony Addison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Barrett Watts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Winfred Gladu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Winfred Gladu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Komoux fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winfred Gladu in the 66th minute of play forced DeWette's goalkeeper Barrett Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Antony Addison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Komoux fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 74th minute, Winfred Gladu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barrett Watts was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 77th minute, Antony Addison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Komoux fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in DeWette's zone, Antony Addison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barrett Watts came out of the goal and Antony Addison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes of play, Komoux's Winfred Gladu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barrett Watts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barrett Watts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Addison in the 97th minute of play. Komoux walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
