Norman Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cornett having to interfere. Theo Guilmette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cornett having to interfere. A collision led to Mattice getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Leandro Engel hit a great ball. John Cornett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Zoolingen's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. John Cornett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Zoolingen in the 8th minute of the match. Titus Broussard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. John Cornett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norman Villanueva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leopoldo Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay McDonough having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Theo Guilmette suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Warren Chabot kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Norman Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chevaliers de Québec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norman Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baudouin Burrell hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. John Cornett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Villanueva in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Titus Broussard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chevaliers de Québec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titus Broussard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Warren Chabot kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mattice defense, Norman Villanueva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Cornett. The Mattice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Cornett should have stopped the shot. After 47 played minutes Mattice got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Asselin. The Mattice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chevaliers de Québec were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Zoolingen made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nathanael Crouch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chevaliers de Québec's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathanael Crouch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Cornett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norman Villanueva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Cornett having to make a save. Desmond Hodges charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desmond Hodges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Mattice got a freekick which was hit by Desmond Hodges. Branden Irvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Titus Broussard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chevaliers de Québec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Baudouin Burrell kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Leandro Engel charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Engel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 75 minutes into the game, one of Mattice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Chevaliers de Québec's John Zoolingen in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mattice's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Mattice getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Warren Chabot hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathanael Crouch during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chevaliers de Québec! The referee gave Mattice a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeffery Manuel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chevaliers de Québec's Jay McDonough. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Villanueva in the 93rd minute of play forced Mattice's goalkeeper John Cornett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branden Irvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay McDonough having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Clemente Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chevaliers de Québec's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Cornett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mattice's zone, Titus Broussard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Cornett came out of the goal and Titus Broussard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chevaliers de Québec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
