Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Graig Dunlap took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Graig Dunlap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coniston's supporters rose to their feet, but Graig Dunlap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Connie Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Connie Kimbrough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graig Dunlap in the 7th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Coniston's goalkeeper Leslie Pope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Aponte. In the 17th minute, Dirk Aponte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 20 minutes, Lyle Baldwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coniston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lyle Baldwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hectanooga's goalkeeper Connie Kimbrough, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 26 minutes, Dirk Aponte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hectanooga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Aponte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Nadeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leslie Pope having to interfere. Delbert Cisneros lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Hectanooga's Louis Cote got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leslie Pope. Leon Nadeau struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Leslie Pope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hectanooga. Jean Littlejohn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Connie Kimbrough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Leon Nadeau got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Nadeau made a kick off. Leslie Pope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Nadeau in the 52nd minute of the match. Leslie Pope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Nadeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coniston's Leslie Pope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Aponte in the 74th minute of play. Leon Nadeau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyle Baldwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connie Kimbrough having to interfere. Leon Nadeau took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leslie Pope. Leslie Pope dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lyle Baldwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connie Kimbrough having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lyle Baldwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coniston's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyle Baldwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Connie Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leslie Pope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Nadeau, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hectanooga had won after a very even match.
