Sarrail's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NİNNAS the free kick. Mike English showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Marcus in the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Grady to strike the kick off in the second half. After 64 played minutes, Sarrail's Herman Savage shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ben Cooke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarrail reached it. 66 minutes into the match, Sarrail's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Stratton came free, but Mike English reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Dick Walton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarrail's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Walton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Cooke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NİNNAS's Ben Cooke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Walton in the 70th minute of play. Teodoro Grady took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Cooke. Ben Cooke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Teodoro Grady might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ben Cooke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
