In the 14th minute Graig Dunlap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sang McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyle Baldwin in the 16th minute of play forced Bretona's goalkeeper Sang McLaughlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delbert Cisneros kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cedric Lemaître made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Lyle Baldwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coniston's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyle Baldwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sang McLaughlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lyle Baldwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sang McLaughlin having to interfere. Coniston's Leslie Pope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Lemaître in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Coniston getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rick Grandbois hit a great ball. Leslie Pope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael McDaniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
