In the 3rd minute, Cletus Regan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Adolph Casey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dillon Blanton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dusty Cannon struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dillon Blanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nordegg. Dillon Blanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Samuel in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Peterbell getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Efrain Epperson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peterbell's zone, Dusty Cannon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon Blanton came out of the goal and Dusty Cannon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Nordegg's Ronald Goff got control of the ball when Burt Gervais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronald Goff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raleigh Skinner in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raleigh Skinner in the 26th minute of play forced Nordegg's goalkeeper Ronald Goff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darrell Samuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dillon Blanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Dusty Cannon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peterbell's Dillon Blanton. Dillon Blanton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dillon Blanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Samuel in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raleigh Skinner in the 44th minute of play forced Nordegg's goalkeeper Ronald Goff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Cletus Regan suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Peterbell booed when Nordegg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kraig Chesnay didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Dusty Cannon made the kick off in the second half. Burt Gervais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronald Goff having to make a save. When Darrell Samuel came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nordegg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darrell Samuel couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nordegg's goalkeeper Ronald Goff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dusty Cannon in the 69th minute of play forced Peterbell's goalkeeper Dillon Blanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nordegg's Ronald Goff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burt Gervais in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Nordegg getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sam Abraham hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Peterbell's Burt Gervais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronald Goff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrien Sprague hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Nordegg's Adolph Casey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Peterbell. In the 92nd minute, Raleigh Skinner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peterbell's Burt Gervais got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nordegg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
