Sirdar's Pasquale McDaniel pulled a muscle in his back after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rodney Parsons's late challenge caught a Sirdar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Jacob during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rory Stratton ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Herbert Lee made the kick off in the second half. Herbert Lee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ben Cooke having to make a save.
