Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neville Saucier kicked off to start the match. Franklin Bourget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Franklin Bourget's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Hager was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Josh Saunders kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Sang Ferris was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th minute of the match, Ethan Harrell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mariano Hager was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Burton Petty fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turbine's protests and gave Burton Petty a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Turbine's Burton Petty got a free kick in the 15th minute. Florentin Kurtz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Yale's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Corin Medley in the 19th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Turbine's goalie and right to Richie Greer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Turbine's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Ethan Harrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Hager made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ethan Harrell in the 29th minute. Ethan Harrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Mariano Hager made a huge save. Ethan Harrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Hager having to interfere. Franklin Bourget struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mariano Hager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yale. After having played for 42 minutes, Neville Saucier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turbine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neville Saucier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Neville Saucier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mohammad Hartley was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neville Saucier in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohammad Hartley saved Yale from getting behind. Yale's Franklin Bourget got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franklin Bourget stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mathis Crump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ethan Harrell came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Yale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ethan Harrell couldn't finish the play. Turbine's Mariano Hager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josh Saunders in the 65th minute of play. When Mathis Crump came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Turbine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathis Crump couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Richie Greer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yale and the Turbine players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yale's Richie Greer got a free kick in the 68th minute. Mathis Crump's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammad Hartley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Ethan Harrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Hager was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mathis Crump recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Turbine's Neville Saucier was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Neville Saucier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Turbine's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
