Spectators: 6524 (Terracing: 4800, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rory Stratton started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Mariano Marcus made a precise shot to the right of Connie Kimbrough. Hectanooga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rodney Parsons charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodney Parsons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Rodney Parsons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hectanooga getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rudolph Thayer hit a great ball. Connie Kimbrough stood somewhat misplaced when Mariano Marcus came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Mariano Marcus managed to get in a good position for a shot. NİNNAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Marcus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Connie Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ben Cooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Nadeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, NİNNAS's Rodney Parsons got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dirk Aponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The attack was good, but when Leon Nadeau in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience was convinced that Leon Nadeau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ben Cooke was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 24 played minutes NİNNAS got a freekick which was hit by Gil Fenton. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hectanooga's goalkeeper Connie Kimbrough, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the NİNNAS defense, Dirk Aponte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ben Cooke. The NİNNAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ben Cooke should have stopped the shot. Ben Cooke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Aponte in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Hectanooga's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Stratton came free, but Connie Kimbrough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Leon Nadeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Cooke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rory Stratton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connie Kimbrough having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Dirk Aponte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hectanooga's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Aponte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Cooke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Leon Nadeau made the kick off in the second half. Leon Nadeau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Rory Stratton notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Hectanooga's Connie Kimbrough. Connie Kimbrough was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ben Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Nadeau in the 60th minute of the match. When Jefferey McCormick fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hectanooga's protests and gave Jefferey McCormick a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Hectanooga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferey McCormick to maneuver through the defense. Connie Kimbrough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Stratton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Connie Kimbrough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Stratton in the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Mariano Marcus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NİNNAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Marcus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dirk Aponte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Ben Cooke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 83 minutes into the match, NİNNAS's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Nadeau came free, but Ben Cooke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirk Aponte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leon Nadeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rory Stratton came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the NİNNAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rory Stratton couldn't finish the play.
