Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elbert Faulk took the kick off in the first half of the match. Harvey Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatien Connolly in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Fonthill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shayne Acosta to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Stoneham's Hipolito Auclair tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald McPherson in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blair Amos saved Fonthill from getting behind. Floyd Gage struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Blair Amos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoneham. Donatien Connolly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Floyd Gage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Basile Schwartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donatien Connolly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Harvey Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chauncey Dubé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chauncey Dubé made a kick off. Harvey Rosenberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antoine Quinones showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. A collision led to Fonthill getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luc Langley hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Fonthill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Quinones to maneuver through the defense. Stoneham's Hipolito Auclair couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fonthill. When Floyd Gage came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Stoneham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Floyd Gage couldn't finish the play. Elbert Faulk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Rosenberg having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Chauncey Dubé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Basile Schwartz fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoneham's protests and gave Basile Schwartz a yellow card for diving instead. Pascal Connor kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Basile Schwartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fonthill getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Shayne Acosta hit a great ball. Blair Amos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chauncey Dubé, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Pascal Connor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fonthill and the Stoneham players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fonthill's Pascal Connor got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Chauncey Dubé might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blair Amos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chauncey Dubé ran back to his position shaking his head.
