Carroll Grubbs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, ALBATROZ PEGA NEM VENTO's Carroll Grubbs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Leopoldo Dale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Von Dubé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Bell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brenton Cline in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Leopoldo Dale could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. Brenton Cline recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carroll Grubbs in the 26th minute of play forced Franchere's goalkeeper Von Dubé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Carroll Grubbs could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Von Dubé however easily saved by the left post. Franchere's Brenton Cline got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Bell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of James Blackburn's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Brenton Cline sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carroll Grubbs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Von Dubé having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Dale in the 44th minute of play forced Franchere's goalkeeper Von Dubé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Leopoldo Dale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Von Dubé. The goal made the score 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Dale to make the kick off. If Leopoldo Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corey Busby's late challenge caught a ALBATROZ PEGA NEM VENTO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corey Busby helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Franchere getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Corey Busby hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Rufus Woodson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Von Dubé showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carroll Grubbs in the 65th minute of play forced Franchere's goalkeeper Von Dubé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Franchere's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Dale came free, but Von Dubé reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Von Dubé was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leopoldo Dale struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Von Dubé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALBATROZ PEGA NEM VENTO. 87 minutes into the game, ALBATROZ PEGA NEM VENTO's Leopoldo Dale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Von Dubé made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Carroll Grubbs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Von Dubé having to make a save. After 93 played minutes Franchere got a freekick which was hit by Ambroise Madden. In the 96th minute Harold Brousseau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Bell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carroll Grubbs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that ALBATROZ PEGA NEM VENTO were the better team. ALBATROZ PEGA NEM VENTO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
