Spectators: 6715 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 0) Floyd Gage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15th play minutes Floyd Gage shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Orval Pariseau and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Floyd Gage put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Orval Pariseau. Hubert Strickland didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 29th minute. Wabowden's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Hubert Strickland was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wabowden's Orval Pariseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chauncey Dubé in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Ybarra got free with Harvey Rosenberg in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Floyd Gage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes of play, Stoneham's Chauncey Dubé made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orval Pariseau was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 49th minute of the match Hipolito Auclair shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orval Pariseau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Stoneham's Chauncey Dubé in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wabowden's goalie prevented a goal. Harvey Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ybarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orval Pariseau made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Floyd Gage sent off a good shot on target. When Eddy McRae came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Wabowden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddy McRae couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Chauncey Dubé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orval Pariseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floyd Gage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Orval Pariseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harvey Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Strickland, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Floyd Gage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoneham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Floyd Gage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Rodrigo Ybarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wabowden's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Ybarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harvey Rosenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chauncey Dubé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orval Pariseau having to interfere. Orval Pariseau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chauncey Dubé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floyd Gage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Orval Pariseau made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Floyd Gage got free with Orval Pariseau in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
