Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Stettler FC's Jackson Lacombe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stacy Rancourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Harvey Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jackson Lacombe in the 12th minute of play forced Stoneham's goalkeeper Harvey Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chauncey Dubé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes Stettler FC got a freekick which was hit by Basile Beaulé. If Stacy Rancourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jackson Lacombe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Harvey Rosenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stacy Rancourt in the 27th minute of play forced Stoneham's goalkeeper Harvey Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Stoneham's Ernest Poulin threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chauncey Dubé, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Harvey Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jackson Lacombe in the 31st minute of the match. Chauncey Dubé received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernest Poulin came out and tried to block the shot, but Chauncey Dubé slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. Ronald McPherson's late challenge caught a Stettler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronald McPherson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Ronald McPherson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chauncey Dubé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chauncey Dubé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chauncey Dubé, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ernest Poulin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chauncey Dubé made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play Stoneham's Ronald McPherson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Floyd Gage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Poulin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Floyd Gage in the 65th minute of play forced Stettler FC's goalkeeper Ernest Poulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Stettler FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Anderson Goulet hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Mireault got free with Harvey Rosenberg in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stacy Rancourt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Harvey Rosenberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stacy Rancourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Harvey Rosenberg made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Stoneham's zone, Jackson Lacombe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Rosenberg came out of the goal and Jackson Lacombe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basile Schwartz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Floyd Gage took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Poulin. Ernest Poulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 95 played minutes Stoneham got a freekick which was hit by Basile Schwartz. In the 98th minute of the match Stettler FC got a corner. Stoneham's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandy Hobbs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sandy Hobbs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stoneham's Harvey Rosenberg did a great save. The Stettler FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Stoneham from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
