The nice shot from Roy Huntley in the 15thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ike Weldon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Shockley to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Roy Huntley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savona's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Huntley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ike Weldon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Roy Huntley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ike Weldon was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 90 minutes, Vincent Kimble mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlin FC and the Savona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Atlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Kimble. Cruz Stearns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Shockley in the 92nd minute of play. With 92 minutes on the clock, Hollis Gale commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 92nd minute, one of Savona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Savona. The goalkeeper, Cruz Stearns, was totally fooled by Atlin FC's Célestin Matthews, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
