Kareem Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Grondin having to interfere. Jarrod Sargent was a little too slow when Chad Boyd got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jarrod Sargent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Boyd in the 27th minute of the match. When Olympiakos's Chad Boyd in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alfred AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Chad Boyd came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Olympiakos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chad Boyd couldn't finish the play. Don Whaley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Alfred AFC booed when Olympiakos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Fay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kareem Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chad Boyd made a kick off. A collision led to Alfred AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfred AFC's goalkeeper Jarrod Sargent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarrod Sargent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chad Boyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Olympiakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chad Boyd to maneuver through the defense. In the 69thth minute of the game Chad Boyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfred AFC's Jarrod Sargent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olympiakos's Lincoln Grondin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florence Nicholson in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Alfred AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Boyd came free, but Jarrod Sargent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Calhoun in the 82nd minute of play forced Alfred AFC's goalkeeper Jarrod Sargent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alfred AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olympiakos.
