Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Hermitage AFC's Andreas Norwood started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes Hermitage AFC got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Peacock. If Felton Washington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Lenard Metcalf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Croft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino McWilliams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Hermitage AFC's goalkeeper Patrick Beyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felton Washington. Montmartre's Ashley Gougeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Croft in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Montmartre's Lenard Metcalf got a free kick in the 35th minute. Patrick Beyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenard Metcalf in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Felton Washington notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hermitage AFC's Patrick Beyer. Patrick Beyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lenard Metcalf to make the kick off. Hermitage AFC's Patrick Beyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felton Washington in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Montmartre's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Norwood came free, but Ashley Gougeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montmartre's Lenard Metcalf got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Montmartre's Valère Guerrero got a free kick in the 67th minute. Andreas Norwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Montmartre's Ashley Gougeon got control of the ball when Eric Croft tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 played minutes, Montmartre's Larry Sinclair shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Beyer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montmartre reached it. Eric Croft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ashley Gougeon made a huge save. When Hermitage AFC's Andreas Norwood in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montmartre's goalie prevented a goal. With 90 minutes on the clock, Charlie Peacock commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 89 minutes into the game, one of Hermitage AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Montmartre's Lenard Metcalf got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lenard Metcalf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Beyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hermitage AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montmartre.
