Brooks Darnell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Savona's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Paris Goins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Savona getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Theodore Authier hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lawrence Donahue during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gallows were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Savona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hilaire Paige took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tyler Michel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cruz Stearns quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Paris Goins came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Gallows fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Goins couldn't finish the play. Cruz Stearns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paris Goins's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Paris Goins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Luke Lin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brooks Darnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Britt Rose made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Huntley in the 43rd minute. Roy Huntley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britt Rose having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Lin was the one to do the kick off. Abel Melton charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Melton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gallows's Abel Melton got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 67 minutes, Luke Lin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Savona's Cruz Stearns tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cruz Stearns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Lin in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shirley Wall during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gallows booed when Savona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shirley Wall didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roy Huntley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Huntley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Savona's Brooks Darnell got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roy Huntley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Huntley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cruz Stearns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Luke Lin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cruz Stearns, 0-2. In the 98th minute, Paris Goins made a precise shot to the right of Cruz Stearns. Savona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Savona supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gallows's performance. The match ended with a win for Gallows.
