Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Micah McConnell kicked off to start the match. The long shot by Cody Slaughter in the 5th minute really tested Willie Houston's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Eddie Rowley notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Quebec AFC's Willie Houston. Willie Houston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Landon Horn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willie Houston having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Merlin Clavet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelan and the Quebec AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Merlin Clavet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Merlin Clavet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willie Houston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th play minute Eddie Rowley came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Willie Houston. 2-0. Chelan's Eddie Rowley got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Landon Horn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willie Houston having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Landon Horn in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willie Houston saved Quebec AFC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Quebec AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eddie Rowley fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Chelan's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Benoit came free, but Jacques Mathews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Landon Horn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Landon Horn to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Chelan's Dee Lehman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willie Houston was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Quebec AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dee Lehman came free, but Willie Houston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rory Benoit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jacques Mathews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eddie Rowley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willie Houston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Rowley, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the game, Eddie Rowley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Willie Houston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Chelan's Eddie Rowley in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quebec AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th match minute, Quebec AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Frank to maneuver through the defense. Willie Houston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Landon Horn in the 75th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Landon Horn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quebec AFC's Willie Houston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Quebec AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chelan:s goal. Rory Benoit struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jacques Mathews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebec AFC. Eddie Rowley scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willie Houston, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
