Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Axe Team's Mckinley Koehler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Shockley in the 3rd minute of play forced Axe Team's goalkeeper Eric Gareau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Shockley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gareau having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Stanley Tompkins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Axe Team and the Atlin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Axe Team's Stanley Tompkins got a free kick in the 9th minute. Maximo Shockley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Gareau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Maximo Shockley shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Axe Team's Eric Gareau to catch but Maximo Shockley was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Maximo Shockley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Gareau having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Mckinley Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Axe Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Mckinley Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ike Weldon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Atlin FC booed when Axe Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Matlock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ike Weldon made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Hans Dupéré sent off a good shot on target. Mckinley Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ike Weldon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mckinley Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th match minute, Axe Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mckinley Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Mckinley Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ike Weldon having to interfere. Ike Weldon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mckinley Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Antony Parizeau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Axe Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antony Parizeau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximo Shockley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hans Dupéré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ike Weldon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Antony Parizeau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Axe Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlin FC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Axe Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Parizeau to maneuver through the defense. Célestin Matthews's shot from long distance in the 59th minute was not bad at all, but Axe Team's Eric Gareau knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Antony Parizeau kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ike Weldon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Dupéré, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Axe Team's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Shockley came free, but Eric Gareau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romain Clifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Atlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Dupéré came free, but Ike Weldon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Val LaCaille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes in the game, Romain Clifford fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eric Gareau having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Axe Team's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Shockley came free, but Eric Gareau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Mohamed Matlock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Shockley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Gareau having to make a save. Romain Clifford took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Gareau. Eric Gareau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
