Ashley Gougeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keneth Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lenard Metcalf might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulysses Burgos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lenard Metcalf ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Montmartre's Felton Washington slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulysses Burgos. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Ulysses Burgos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keneth Marrero in the 31st minute of play forced Montmartre's goalkeeper Ashley Gougeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Montmartre booed when Argenta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Dubé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keneth Marrero to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Montmartre got a freekick which was hit by Lino McWilliams. Keneth Marrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Gougeon having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Argenta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Delgado to maneuver through the defense.
