In the 4th minute Marquis Mallory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Sargent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nathanial Hardy hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Brancepeth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florence Nicholson came free, but Quinn Sands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brancepeth FC's Quinn Sands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Brancepeth FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florence Nicholson in the 15th minute of play forced Brancepeth FC's goalkeeper Quinn Sands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquis Mallory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jarrod Sargent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brancepeth FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Giuseppe Adams hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Florence Nicholson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinn Sands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kareem Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Quinn Sands skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Florence Nicholson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th match minute, Brancepeth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Adams to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Kareem Garcia notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Brancepeth FC's Quinn Sands. Quinn Sands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quinn Sands made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Kareem Garcia sent off a good shot on target. Alfred AFC's Jarrod Sargent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Brand in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Homer Brand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brancepeth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Homer Brand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homer Brand to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Alfred AFC's Jarrod Sargent got control of the ball when Marquis Mallory tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfred AFC's Jarrod Sargent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Brand in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Earl Poirier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfred AFC and the Brancepeth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Alfred AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earl Poirier to maneuver through the defense. Homer Brand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrod Sargent having to interfere. Jarrod Sargent was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Homer Brand showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Kareem Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfred AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kareem Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quinn Sands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Brancepeth FC booed when Alfred AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Altman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Florence Nicholson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quinn Sands. Quinn Sands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florence Nicholson in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Alfred AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hugo Staples hit a great ball.
