Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Landon Horn kicked off to start the match. Eddie Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Eric Gareau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Hans Dupéré left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Axe Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hans Dupéré recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacques Mathews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mckinley Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Chelan's Dee Lehman got a free kick in the 20th minute. Mckinley Koehler struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jacques Mathews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Axe Team. Eddie Rowley took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Gareau. Eric Gareau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Eddie Rowley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Hans Dupéré dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacques Mathews, 2-1. In the 45th minute, Landon Horn made a precise shot to the right of Eric Gareau. Axe Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Eric Gareau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Rowley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Landon Horn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gareau having to interfere. When Chelan's Landon Horn in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Axe Team's goalie prevented a goal. Mohamed Matlock charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamed Matlock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Mohamed Matlock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Axe Team's goalkeeper Eric Gareau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Rowley. Landon Horn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chelan's Jacques Mathews played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Dupéré in the 70th minute of play. Landon Horn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gareau having to interfere. If Landon Horn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Rowley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antony Parizeau kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Eric Gareau was a little too slow when Landon Horn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-4. Eric Gareau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Landon Horn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 81 minute of play. With his leg Eric Gareau managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Chelan's Eddie Rowley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Axe Team booed when Chelan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dee Lehman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacques Mathews stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mckinley Koehler's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Dee Lehman had to leave the field with a concussion. When Mohamed Matlock was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. In the 92nd match minute, Axe Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Matlock to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Axe Team's goalkeeper Eric Gareau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Rowley. With a little luck, Axe Team's Eric Gareau got control of the ball when Landon Horn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chelan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
