Adam Dubé's late challenge caught a Alfred AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Dubé helped the player get up and apologised. Adam Dubé kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Keneth Marrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrod Sargent having to interfere. A collision led to Argenta AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alphonse McCarthy hit a great ball. Jarrod Sargent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Broussard in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Florence Nicholson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfred AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florence Nicholson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Burgos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florence Nicholson to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Argenta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Florence Nicholson came free, but Ulysses Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argenta AFC's Ulysses Burgos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florence Nicholson in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Alfred AFC booed when Argenta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Broussard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Argenta AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alfred AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
