After a rather tough play, Warman's Spencer Anderson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Germain Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Marin having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Germain Anaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ollie Marin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Germain Anaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ollie Marin was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, David Skinner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sidney's Ollie Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sidney from getting a goal against them. In the 54th match minute, Warman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irvin Wolff to maneuver through the defense. When David Skinner came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sidney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Skinner couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sidney booed when Warman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spencer Anderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jérémie Masters in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 95 minutes, Jame Jolly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sidney and the Warman players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jérémie Masters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ollie Marin made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Warman walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
