When Dion Stover fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belleville's protests and gave Dion Stover a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Dion Stover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre Beatty made a kick off. Monte Paige's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play.
