Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aurora's Russell Gingras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Russell Gingras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Brant Love made a huge save. Brant Love showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russell Gingras in the 5th minute of the match. Warman's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Theo Morton scored to the left of an out of position Brant Love, making the score, 1-0. In the 9thth minute of the game Russell Gingras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warman's Brant Love was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 played minutes Warman got a freekick which was hit by Jarod Dufresne. After a rather tough play, Warman's Germain Anaya got a free kick in the 11th minute. Warman's Brant Love played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russell Gingras in the 14th minute of play. When Warman's Germain Anaya in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aurora's goalie prevented a goal. After 23 minutes, Normand Mullen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aurora and the Warman players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aurora's Normand Mullen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Jérémie Masters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brant Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russell Gingras in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Malcolm Booth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russell Gingras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Russell Gingras might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brant Love. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russell Gingras ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Corpeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémie Masters in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Aurora getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Isidro Honeycutt hit a great ball. Theo Morton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Brant Love made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Russell Gingras put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Brant Love. A collision led to Aurora getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Russell Gingras hit a great ball. Jérémie Masters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jorge Corpeño made a huge save. Aurora's Jorge Corpeño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Aurora from getting a goal against them. Russell Gingras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Brant Love tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brant Love showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russell Gingras, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Normand Mullen came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Aurora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Normand Mullen couldn't finish the play. When Aurora's Russell Gingras in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warman's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute Normand Mullen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Love saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Russell Gingras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aurora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Russell Gingras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aurora's Russell Gingras in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warman's goalie prevented a goal. If Normand Mullen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Russell Gingras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Brant Love was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Corpeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germain Anaya in the 80th minute of the match. When Normand Mullen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Aurora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Normand Mullen couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Russell Gingras in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brant Love prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Normand Mullen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Brant Love tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Russell Gingras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warman's Brant Love was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aurora fully deserved thier win.
