The tension between the Sturgis and the Belleville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sturgis fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Belleville a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dion Stover kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bryan Espinosas short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Dane Rader to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clément Gibbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ian Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Jonah Goudreau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belleville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonah Goudreau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marc Eastman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Santana didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sturgis's Louis Lebrun shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 96th minute Clément Gibbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sturgis players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
