Clyde Vogt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Miocene's Arturo Barton got control of the ball when Chadwick Horton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Miocene's Archie Sapp got a free kick in the 18th minute. Clyde Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Cross having to interfere. Angel Cross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Solomon Hollingsworth in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Lyle Grubb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Quatsino's Raul Langley tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wilber Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clyde Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Cross having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

54 minutes into the game, one of Miocene:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raul Langley placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Quatsino's Angel Cross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyle Grubb in the 57th minute of play. Angel Cross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Solomon Hollingsworth in the 59th minute of the match. Raul Langley hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Quatsino's goalkeeper Angel Cross had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clyde Vogt. In the 66th minute Chadwick Horton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Barton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quatsino's Chadwick Horton got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Archie Sapp kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Miocene's Solomon Hollingsworth in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quatsino's goalie prevented a goal. Marcus McCullough's late challenge caught a Miocene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus McCullough helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quatsino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Clyde Vogt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 102nd minute of the match, but Angel Cross made a huge save. Miocene's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
