Brendon Chatigny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shannon Hickman went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Arthur AFC's zone, Rayford Parmentier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendon Chatigny came out of the goal and Rayford Parmentier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Arthur AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rayford Malone hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Arthur AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rayford Parmentier came free, but Brendon Chatigny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Rayford Parmentier put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Brendon Chatigny. Brendon Chatigny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayford Parmentier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Rayford Parmentier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Brendon Chatigny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayford Parmentier in the 31st minute of play forced Arthur AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Chatigny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dwayne Bisaillon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brendon Chatigny. Arthur AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brendon Chatigny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rayford Parmentier in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Rayford Parmentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendon Chatigny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rayford Parmentier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendon Chatigny was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rayford Parmentier in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brendon Chatigny, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th match minute, Arthur AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manual Amos to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves with his feet 62 minutes in the game Deshawn Keith managed to fire away a quick shot, that unfortunally went outside the top left corner. A very good opportunity for a goal. Denis Jackson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Rayford Parmentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Cowansville's Shannon Hickman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brendon Chatigny. Brendon Chatigny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The supporters of Arthur AFC booed when Cowansville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Ostargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean Driscoll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Abel Ostargi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rayford Parmentier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brendon Chatigny having to make a save. Rayford Parmentier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Brendon Chatigny skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 87 minutes into the match, Shannon Hickman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brendon Chatigny, 0-6. 91 minutes into the match, Arthur AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shannon Hickman came free, but Brendon Chatigny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Shannon Hickman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Cowansville could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arthur AFC throughout the match.
