Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Perry Cartier kicked off to start the match. Ermenegilde Soto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlen Moreland, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Arlen Moreland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Craigend FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlen Moreland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermenegilde Soto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Perry Cartier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Laforge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlen Moreland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Craigend FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Cartier came free, but Abel Laforge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Chambly FC's Alphonso McElroy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Laforge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Laforge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alphonso McElroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Perry Cartier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Laforge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alphonso McElroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Laforge having to interfere. Craigend FC's Abel Laforge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Cartier in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Craigend FC's Garland Rodrigue broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Perry Cartier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Abel Laforge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlen Moreland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermenegilde Soto having to interfere. After the first half Chambly FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlen Moreland made a kick off. When Quinn Burnette came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Craigend FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinn Burnette couldn't finish the play. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chambly FC! The referee gave Craigend FC a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Garland Rodrigue, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chambly FC's Ermenegilde Soto. 1-1. Ermenegilde Soto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinn Burnette, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Edgard McNamara scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermenegilde Soto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alphonso McElroys short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Abel Laforge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Craigend FC's Adam Caya got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Perry Cartier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Manuel Sicard charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Sicard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Chambly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Sicard to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Quinn Burnette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craigend FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quinn Burnette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arlen Moreland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Quinn Burnette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermenegilde Soto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard McNamara kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perry Cartier in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Laforge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes, Forrest Higgins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Craigend FC and the Chambly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Craigend FC's Forrest Higgins got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Perry Cartier got free in front of the goal in the 91st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Abel Laforge was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 93 played minutes, Chambly FC's Jerald Small shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abel Laforge came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chambly FC reached it. Perry Cartier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Laforge having to interfere. Craigend FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chambly FC for a fine match.
