Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Torrance FC's Frances Clinton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Parker Haley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frances Clinton in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match, Luigi Ritter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Parker Haley was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Sointula booed when Torrance FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trinidad Piedalue didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Torrance FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robt Hansen came free, but Rex Hopkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Wise in the 12th minute of play forced Torrance FC's goalkeeper Rex Hopkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frances Clinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omer Wise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Hopkins having to interfere. When Frank Galloway fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sointula's protests and gave Frank Galloway a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Sointula got a freekick which was hit by Frank Galloway. After 35 minutes of play Sointula's Frank Galloway was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luigi Ritter got free with Parker Haley in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omer Wise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Wise in the 49th minute of play forced Torrance FC's goalkeeper Rex Hopkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omer Wise made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Luigi Ritter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrance FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luigi Ritter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Parker Haley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luigi Ritter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omer Wise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Hopkins having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Peck during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sointula booed when Torrance FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Peck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robt Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Hopkins having to interfere. Torrance FC's Trinidad Piedalue got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Trinidad Piedalue off the ground. After 76 played minutes Torrance FC got a freekick which was hit by Trinidad Piedalue. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omer Wise got free with Rex Hopkins in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Parker Haley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luigi Ritter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Luigi Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parker Haley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes, Isaias Brown mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torrance FC and the Sointula players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaias Brown hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Omer Wises short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Rex Hopkins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omer Wise got free with Rex Hopkins in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torrance FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
