Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Darden took the kick off in the first half of the match. Matador's Warren Reece played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robt Hansen in the 5th minute of play. Robt Hansen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Warren Reece having to make a save. Joachim Veilleux kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Matador's Eli Ingram nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Parker Haley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute Murray Cuevas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parker Haley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Reece made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robt Hansen in the 18th minute of play. Ricardo Pitts hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Omer Wise came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sointula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omer Wise couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Matador's Warren Reece got control of the ball when Omer Wise tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robt Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Reece having to interfere. Omer Wise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Warren Reece tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Robt Hansen 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Aubrey Ernst hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Robt Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robt Hansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Warren Reece tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eli Ingram struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Parker Haley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matador.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robt Hansen to strike the kick off in the second half. Parker Haley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Darden in the 56th minute of the match. Sointula's Parker Haley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Sointula from getting a goal against them. Robt Hansen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warren Reece read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Joachim Veilleux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warren Reece came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sointula's Omer Wise. But to his dismay, Omer Wise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Warren Reece made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robt Hansen in the 93rd minute of play.
