Moses Marleau kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes, Bourkes's Son Toth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaac Flores came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bourkes reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when August Bernard got free with Isaac Flores in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Paris Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paris Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Flores having to interfere. Shunacadie's Isaac Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Avila in the 16th minute of play. Carmelo Shoemaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randy Hawkins having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Shunacadie's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Avila came free, but Isaac Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Paris Avila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shunacadie's Isaac Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paris Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmelo Shoemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Bourkes got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Metcalf. After 40 played minutes Bourkes got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Metcalf. When Hippolyte Rubin came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Shunacadie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hippolyte Rubin couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paris Avila to strike the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Shoemaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randy Hawkins having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Shunacadie's Corey Leal got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 65 played minutes Shunacadie got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Bailey. In the 72nd match minute, Shunacadie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Bailey to maneuver through the defense. August Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that August Bernard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Flores was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Paris Avila struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Isaac Flores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bourkes. In the 87th minute, August Bernard made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Flores. Shunacadie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Hippolyte Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Shoemaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Randy Hawkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randy Hawkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Shoemaker in the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bourkes had won after a very even match.
