In the 15th match minute, Matador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doyle Andrews to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Perry Cartier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chambly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Cartier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eli Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Alphonso McElroy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chambly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alphonso McElroy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Perry Cartier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Warren Reece, passed just outside the right post. Perry Cartier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Marcus Darden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermenegilde Soto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Matador's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Cartier came free, but Warren Reece reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alphonso McElroy got free with Warren Reece in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Darden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Cartier in the 54th minute of play forced Matador's goalkeeper Warren Reece to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Darden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the game, Matador's Eli Ingram nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermenegilde Soto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Matador's Warren Reece played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonso McElroy in the 68th minute of play. When Eli Ingram came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Matador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eli Ingram couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chambly FC booed when Matador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scotty Maher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matador's Warren Reece played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Cartier in the 74th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Marcus Darden dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ermenegilde Soto, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Matador's Forrest Perdue got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Matador's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Cartier came free, but Warren Reece reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
