Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evan Dufour kicked off to start the match. Moses Sorensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evan Dufour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atherley's Fernand Schaefer got a free kick in the 4th minute. Lowell McCray struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Stacy Richmond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmarol. If Lowell McCray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stacy Richmond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lowell McCray's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Atherley's Stacy Richmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lowell McCray in the 14th minute of play. Palmarol's Rodolfo Serrano got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Atherley's zone, Rodolfo Serrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stacy Richmond came out of the goal and Rodolfo Serrano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camille Binet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evan Dufour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moses Sorensen having to interfere. If Camille Binet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Evan Dufour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernand Schaefer kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Palmarol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Camille Binet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The wind increased when Lowell McCray made the kick off in the second half. Lowell McCray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Serrano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Stacy Richmond made a huge save. After having played for 67 minutes, Rodolfo Serrano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmarol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Serrano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evan Dufour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moses Sorensen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 76 played minutes Atherley got a freekick which was hit by Camille Binet. Camille Binet might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moses Sorensen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camille Binet ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 81 minutes, Rodolfo Serrano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmarol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Serrano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Clemente Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atherley's zone, Rodolfo Serrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 91st minute, Lamar Lentz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Palmarol defense, Evan Dufour kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moses Sorensen. The Palmarol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moses Sorensen should have stopped the shot.
