Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arlen Moreland started the match with the kick off. Abel Laforge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Darden in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Matador's Marcus Darden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Laforge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Murray Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Matador booed when Craigend FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Laforge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Darden in the 15th minute of the match. Aubrey Ernst kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Warren Reece made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlen Moreland in the 18th minute of play. Craigend FC's Abel Laforge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Darden in the 24th minute of play. Eli Ingram recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Craigend FC's Edgard McNamara got a free kick in the 30th minute. Eli Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Laforge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Darden in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Darden was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Darden in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Laforge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 played minutes Craigend FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard McNamara. A collision led to Craigend FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Anderson Thayer hit a great ball. Forrest Higgins charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Forrest Higgins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcus Darden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlen Moreland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Warren Reece tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reed Brunault took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Warren Reece. Matador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Eli Ingram fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abel Laforge, passed just outside the right post. Murray Cuevas's late challenge caught a Craigend FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murray Cuevas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Matador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Murray Cuevas hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Matador's Abel Laforge threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcus Darden, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 86th minute, Marcus Darden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
