In the 3rd match minute, Torrance FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trinidad Piedalue to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th match minute, Torrance FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Brown to maneuver through the defense. Rex Hopkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lowell McCray, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, Torrance FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Galvan to maneuver through the defense. Lowell McCray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rex Hopkins made a huge save. Rex Hopkins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Serrano in the 12th minute. If Sean Farrar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lowell McCray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodolfo Serrano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Palmarol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 21 minutes into the match, Palmarol's Lowell McCray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rex Hopkins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Floyd Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luigi Ritter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moses Sorensen having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lowell McCray to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luigi Ritter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moses Sorensen. The goal made the score 0-1. Frances Clinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torrance FC's Rex Hopkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Serrano in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Torrance FC's Trinidad Piedalue got a free kick in the 59th minute. Luigi Ritter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Moses Sorensen made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Torrance FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lowell McCray came free, but Rex Hopkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Torrance FC defense, Rodolfo Serrano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rex Hopkins. The Torrance FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rex Hopkins should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Sean Farrar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palmarol booed when Torrance FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthieu Galvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palmarol's Harold Gregg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Torrance FC.
