Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Robt Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Flores having to interfere. If Hippolyte Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Shoemaker in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Parker Haley saved Sointula from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Joachim Veilleux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sointula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shunacadie the free kick. Joachim Veilleux kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Carmelo Shoemaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Parker Haley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robt Hansen in the 28th minute of play forced Shunacadie's goalkeeper Isaac Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Samuel Bailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Sointula got a freekick which was hit by Robt Hansen. In the 31st minute, Samuel Bailey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Carmelo Shoemaker fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Parker Haley, passed just outside the right post. If Omer Wise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robt Hansen to make the kick off. A collision led to Shunacadie getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Moses Marleau hit a great ball. Sointula's Nolan Bloom shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaac Flores but with some difficulty. Robt Hansen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Moses Marleau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sointula's Parker Haley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shunacadie were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Sointula's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Corey Leal took the corner. Shunacadie's Corey Leal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Parker Haley in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, Sointula's Russel Coronado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Flores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Carmelo Shoemaker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Parker Haley. Sointula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Shoemaker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 79 played minutes Sointula got a freekick which was hit by Russel Coronado. In the 80th minute of the match Corey Leal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Parker Haley skillfully saved the ball. Robt Hansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Isaac Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Robt Hansen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Flores was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the game, Robt Hansen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaac Flores. Robt Hansen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 98th match minute, Shunacadie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Shoemaker to maneuver through the defense. The Sointula supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sointula would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
