Parker Haley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luigi Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Parker Haley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luigi Ritter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sointula getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Russel Coronado hit a great ball. If Luigi Ritter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rex Hopkins made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Omer Wise sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

During the 80th minute of the match Frank Galloway completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Frank Galloway a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sointula getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Frank Galloway hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Nolan Bloom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Frances Clinton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Parker Haley, 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Torrance FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
