Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leslie Witt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gilbert Koch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Corentin Parrish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7thth minute of the game Urbain Dominguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lively's Corentin Parrish was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugh Labbé scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corentin Parrish, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hugh Labbé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Connie Bingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kelligrews booed when Lively was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leroy Gentry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kelligrews's Chi Calvert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leslie Witt in the 30th minute of play. Corentin Parrish showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbain Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Urbain Dominguez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Corentin Parrish took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbain Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corentin Parrish came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Kelligrews's Hugh Labbé. But to his dismay, Hugh Labbé quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urbain Dominguez made a kick off. Connie Bingham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Chi Calvert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Connie Bingham could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Chi Calvert however easily saved by the left post. Corentin Parrish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbain Dominguez in the 60th minute of play. If Urbain Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbain Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Darrick Shields mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lively and the Kelligrews players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kelligrews booed when Lively was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrick Shields didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Hugh Labbé managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kelligrews's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugh Labbé was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corentin Parrish breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Urbain Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
