Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnathan Franks started the match with the kick off. Calder were furious when Maxwell DeCoursey was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 3rd minute, one of Calder:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calder. Courtney Gosselin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Huey Norbert kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lucerne's zone, Glenn Davis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theron Dickens came out of the goal and Glenn Davis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willie Roberson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes, Lucerne's Courtney Gosselin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lazare Warner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lucerne reached it. In the 17th minute, Willie Roberson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucerne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Théodore Redd came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Calder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Théodore Redd couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willie Roberson in the 33rd minute of play forced Calder's goalkeeper Lazare Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenn Davis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lucerne's Danial AyotHayot got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Willie Roberson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazare Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Théodore Redd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theron Dickens having to interfere. The Calder players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lucerne were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Wilson Hughes made the kick off in the second half. Calder's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wilson Hughes 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 72nd minute Wilson Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazare Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Norman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Lucerne's Wilson Hughes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Willie Roberson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucerne's Wilson Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lucerne players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
