With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chi Calvert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Hugh Labbé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calder's Lazare Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbain Dominguez in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johnathan Franks to strike the kick off in the second half. Urbain Dominguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lazare Warner having to make a save. If Hugh Labbé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnathan Franks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Chi Calvert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Calder booed when Kelligrews was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Koch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chi Calvert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Théodore Redd, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kelligrews's zone, Johnathan Franks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chi Calvert came out of the goal and Johnathan Franks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Johnathan Franks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathan Franks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lazare Warner made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Hugh Labbé sent off a good shot on target. Urbain Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbain Dominguez in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lazare Warner saved Calder from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Hugh Labbé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Lazare Warner throw himself and got hold of the ball when Urbain Dominguez in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Esteban Norman kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Johnathan Franks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kelligrews walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
